Faster Notifications and View Previous Notifications

Push notifications for nearby scooters help you grab scooters that show up on the map before anyone else.

But that means those push notifications need to come in fast. In peak times, a scooter can be picked up in minutes. So you need to know about it before anyone else.

Our new notifications service ensures all notifications will show up on your phone within 3 minutes of us finding a new scooter.

We are excited to improve this feature. Some chargers were receiving delayed notifications which is super frustrating.

Scooter Map has spun out a new company: Spring!

Spring makes it easy to start a scooter or bike rental company by providing all of the software, hardware, and support you need.

Is it also possible to filter these by drop-offs / non-drop-offs? You know, Lime quite often puts scooters on the juicer map as drop-offs which means that they don’t need to be charged, but should be dropped off at the Lime base. Unfortunately, in some areas that base is pretty far away so that would be impossible to do on foot (which some juicers do, not having a car), for instance, I know a charger who lives about 9 miles away from the Lime base, but only 1 mile from the next hub, so in this case it would be good to only send a notification if there’s a nearby scooter you can actually charge, but not for drop-offs.
